Key initiatives include:
Rebate of State and Central Levies and Taxes (RoSCTL) Scheme: In effect since March 7, 2019, specifically for labor-oriented textile exports.
Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) Scheme: Launched on April 1, 2021, to refund embedded taxes and duties.
Districts as Export Hubs: Identifying products with export potential in each district, addressing bottlenecks, and supporting local exporters to boost employment.
Common Digital Platform for Certificate of Origin: Facilitates trade and increases Free Trade Agreement (FTA) utilization by exporters.
International Cooperation (IC) Scheme: Supports MSME participation in international fairs/exhibitions for global market exposure and networking, including a component for Capacity Building for First Time Exporters (e.g., membership fees, export insurance, testing & quality certification).
MSME Champions Scheme: Provides holistic support through:
MSME-Sustainable (ZED) Certification Scheme: For quality and environmental standards.
MSME-Competitive (LEAN) Scheme: For efficiency improvements.
MSME-Innovative Scheme: Covering Incubation, Design, and Intellectual Property Rights.
